Cookies and local storage
OpenFetch does not intentionally use cookies for advertising, authentication, or behavioral analytics. The website uses browser localStorage for:
- The current light or dark theme preference.
- A temporary ledger of up to eight resolved media results on the user's device.
Infrastructure cookies
Cloudflare or third-party media providers may process cookies or similar technical identifiers for security, content delivery, rate limiting, or fraud prevention. OpenFetch cannot control third-party cookie behavior.
Managing browser data
You can remove OpenFetch data at any time through your browser's site-data settings. Clearing the site's local storage will reset the theme preference and remove the Recent Downloads ledger. Blocking storage does not prevent the main resolver page from loading, but some preferences and history will no longer persist.
