Copyright and DMCA Policy

OpenFetch respects intellectual-property rights. OpenFetch does not intend to provide or facilitate access to DRM-protected or unauthorized copyrighted material. Users are responsible for only submitting media they own or are legally authorized to access.
Reporting claimed infringement
Because OpenFetch resolves links and generally does not host source media files, a notice should include enough information for us to identify the affected URL, functionality, source, or public GitHub repository issue:
- Your physical or electronic signature, or an authorized representative's signature.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
- The URL on OpenFetch and the original source URL or content location where known.
- Your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and you are authorized to act for the copyright owner.
How to submit a notice
Submit a notice through the OpenFetch GitHub repository issue form. Add the word “Copyright Notice” to the title and do not include passwords, private keys, payment information, or unrelated sensitive data.
For a formal notice governed by a particular jurisdiction, use the applicable statutory process and send the complete notice through a verifiable communication channel maintained by the operator.
Counter-notices
A user who believes material was disabled or restricted by mistake may provide a counter-notice that complies with the law applicable to the user and relevant jurisdiction. A counter-notice may require identifying information, the affected material and location, consent to jurisdiction, and a statement made under penalty of perjury.
Repeat infringement
OpenFetch may restrict features or access where appropriate for repeat infringement or abuse and may preserve or disclose information when required by law.
